Welcome to UK Fuel Price (ukfuelprice.org). By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before use.

1. About the Service

UK Fuel Price is a free, publicly accessible tool that displays petrol and diesel prices at fuel stations across the United Kingdom. Price data is sourced from the UK Government Fuel Finder API, operated by His Majesty's Government, and is refreshed automatically several times per day. This website is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by His Majesty's Government.

2. Accuracy of Price Information

Prices displayed on this website may be incorrect, out of date, or incomplete. Price data is passed through from the Government Fuel Finder API and is provided in good faith, but we cannot guarantee its accuracy. In particular:

• Prices are refreshed periodically and may not reflect the actual price at the pump at the time of your visit.
• There may be a significant delay between a price change at the forecourt and the price appearing on this site.
• Prices reported by fuel stations to the Government API may themselves be inaccurate or delayed.
• Station information (address, opening times, amenities) is updated less frequently and may be incorrect.
• We make no guarantee whatsoever as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information on this site.
• Always verify the price at the pump before fuelling. Do not make purchasing decisions based solely on information shown here.

3. No Warranty

This service is provided strictly "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We expressly disclaim all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The information displayed is accurate, correct, or current;
• The service will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free at any time;
• Any errors or defects in the service will be corrected;
• The service or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Your use of this service is entirely at your own risk.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UK Fuel Price and its operators, contributors, and hosting providers shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of, or reliance upon, this service or any information obtained from it. This includes, without limitation:

• Any financial loss, wasted journey costs, or increased fuel expenditure resulting from reliance on prices shown;
• Any loss arising from driving to a station where the actual price differs from that displayed;
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
• Loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

This limitation of liability applies regardless of the basis of the claim (contract, tort, negligence, statute, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or damage the service or its infrastructure.
• Systematically scrape or harvest data in a manner that places undue burden on the service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its underlying systems.

6. Privacy & Data

UK Fuel Price does not require registration or account creation. We do not collect, store, or sell personal data beyond what is automatically recorded in standard server access logs (such as IP addresses and browser information). These logs are retained for a limited period for operational and security purposes only.

If you use the "My Location" feature, your device's geolocation is used solely to centre the map and find nearby stations. This information is not transmitted to or stored by our servers.

7. Third-Party Services & Attribution

This site uses the following third-party services, each subject to their own terms:

• UK Government Fuel Finder API — all fuel price and station data is sourced from the UK Government Fuel Finder API. This data contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
• OpenStreetMap — map tiles are provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL licence.
• Open Charge Map — EV charge point data is sourced from Open Charge Map, subject to their terms of use.
• Google Maps — the "Open in Google Maps" link is provided as a convenience and is subject to Google Maps Terms of Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page indicates when these terms were last updated.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
